The returning Year 6 pupils are going to work on a weekly project throughout this half term and you are all invited to join in too (even if you are in Year 5!). Simply download the files from the links below and follow the lessons/instructions on the PowerPoint(s). All of the resources are in the file and can be printed off. If you do not have a printer, do not worry, you can use the sheets as a template and draw your own out.
I will also continue to set a number of Mathletics activities each week.
If you have any questions, would like some feedback on work (or just want to show it off!) please email Mr. Harris at: email@example.com
For week beginning 6 July
A mix of everything this week, Lulworth. Let’s keep all the skills you have developed ticking over as we get nearer to the summer break.
There is a workbook for both Year 5 and 6. Year 5s, feel free to have a go at the Year 6 workbook – you will be required to learn some new skills which will prepare you well for next year.
Please remember, if you would like me to have a look at your work then email at firstname.lastname@example.org
For week beginning 29 June
Work from last week if you didn’t finish it!
Welcome to ‘Investigation Week!’.
This week you are going to need to use your full range of mathematical skills to solve a wide variety of maths problems. They do not need to be completed in a specific order – simply pick one you like the look of and go for it.
TOP TIP: working systematically (and recording your working!) will lead you in the right direction…
